I’d like to imagine
you
were just in a vacation,
having fun
with friends and family,
not lovers.
I’d like to imagine
you
were arrested in our bed,
daydreaming
of things here and to come,
and not gone.
I’d like to imagine
you
were in some kind of heaven,
white with wings,
floating about like angels,
not burning (out).
